Variant Electronics 21st release is a familiar face on the label, he has featured on multiple releases, with remixes, and originals on some of our past compilations. Shadowcomplex has been on board from the very beginning of Variant Electronic, and now for the first time he presents us with his first solo release on the label, a phenomenal 5 track EP filled with variety, and of course, his trademark hectic techno style. The EP kicks off with Under Siege, an experimental melodic experience, it is an introduction to what is to come but there are many DJs that would either play this style, or be able to incorporate it into their mix, maybe as an Intro. Following Under Siege we have 0000001, a stylish 125 bpm track, something different yet very malleable, fitting with many styles, a solid techno number but with lots of space for applying it to any mix. Now onto Incinerate, a true banger from the word go, sure to get any floor moving, and what Shadowcomplex is renowned for, proper Techno. White Flags Over Jerusalem is a very busy track, driving bass busy percs and great progressions, not much words can say really, just a great Techno track, really needs to be heard to be appreciated, of course. Criogenesi is filthy, hard as nails, its a change from the rest of the EP, which shows how Shadowcomplex has great variety within his productions. All round this is a very special EP as always from Variant, and we are glad to provide it. Enjoy.
