We are back in business, after a little break from releasing, we are delighted to bring you yet another release from the fantastic Italian duo DRT.
They have been providing us with some floor destroyers, recently with the free EP available on our Bandcamp, if you have not checked that out go over to Variant Electronics Bandcamp page, and download it, no need to listen, we know you'll love it.
DRT are truly a huge part of the label now, and it will remain so. for this release they have upped the game even more, we did not know that was possible, but they did it, providing 4 hammering Techno tracks with varying intensity and style, but with that sound that DRT have perfected, the old phrase "two heads is better then one" is proven here, these guys have been brought together by fate, and more fate got them onto Variant Electronic. Just listen to the originals and you will prob just instabuy them, don't worry, it's ok, your not alone.
Alongside the fantastic originals is yet another absolutely astounding remix from one of the main artists, and since the end of 2017, the "joint manager" of the label, with Luke Creed. Valerio!!.. If you are a fan of the label you will know that he has been on since early days with his collaborations with Reject, and then with two of his own EPs "End of Time" and the massive, most recent one, "Unknown Places, which has been one of the best received releases in recent time on Variant, he has remixed the track "EXS", and put his unique stamp on it, with a summery track that will make you smile just to listen to, if its gloomy outside, put this on and feel the summer vibes, we feel this one will last the test of time, like all of the music we procure, and like this entire release.
Artwork by Irish designer Stuart Hawtin, really special work rounds of the whole package, so enjoy the music, and watch this space for more from Variant.
